Water is a basic human need, and here in the developed world, we don't think about where the water is coming from, how it's being filtered, or how much it costs. We just turn on the tap and clean fresh water appears right at our fingertips. Well, clean water's a luxury a lot of people don't have. Every year around 1.5 million children die because of diseases caused by drinking water that has been contaminated by other people who defecate in the open and many more aren't able to develop fully, both physically and mentally. So why don't they just use the system we have in the developed world in developing countries for both getting rid of waste and filtering water? Because it's too expensive. We need a system that's cheap and that people can manage. But the thing is we have one... The omniprocesser, but no one knows about it. The omniprocesser is a machine that turns human waste into clean drinking water and electricity, and it's cheap to run. But before you do please remember that clean water is something everyone deserves and we hope you decide to help make it possible.
