Quincey Brehmer started this petition to Governor Mark Gordon

I am creating this petition as a means to hopefully gain the attention of the Wyoming Government, in an attempt to have an amendment added to the recent 21+ tobacco laws. Other states have exemptions for active duty military personnel, and Wyoming's Capital, Cheyenne is home for many active duty military. Many of whom are between the ages of 18-20. Why does Wyoming not have an exemption in the law change?

I operate a local Vape/ Tobacco shop in Cheyenne, Wyoming. Many of my customers are active duty military personnel between the ages of 18-20. All who picked up nicotine as a stress reliever from the military. Telling these men and woman who serve my country that I have to stop selling to them, Makes me feel like I am infringing on their personal freedoms that they signed up to protect. If you are old enough to make the decision to fight for your country, personally I think you should have the right to your stress relievers. The quote that continues to be said to me by many of these soldiers I have had to turn away is " Wow, I can sign up to die for my country, but I can't drink or have a smoke." It makes me sad to hear them say that as they walk away struggling with whatever their day has been.
