Why this petition matters

Richard A. Green #T65653 On September 29, 2010 Mariposa county court wrongfully convicted my husband of "Escape with force using a "Knife" when in all reality he and his co defendant walked away w/o any force or violence from a Cdcr fire camp. His Co defendant received a 16 month sentence for correct charge, my husband public defender represented him ineffectively and ill advised him to plead guilty to a wrongful conviction which lead to him receiving a 23 year sentence. My husband is a non violent offender and BPH has denied him 3 years in a row for Prop 57 non violent parole. My husband has never been involved in any acts of violence since his 15 year incarceration, he's only defended himself in mutual combats, therefore BPH is bias towards my husband criminal past when he's showed exceptional growth and rehabilitation. We would like to petition Mariposa county superior court, Mariposa county District Attorney office, and California Board of parole hearings for my husband release. He has two 16 year old kids that loves and miss him dearly, due to this wrongful conviction he's missed out on their entire lives so far. His 103 year old grandmother recently passed away and if it wasn't for this wrongful conviction he could've been with her thought out her dying days to comfort her and this has affected him deeply. Both his mom and dad has chronic illnesses that prevents them from being able to visit with him its been years since he's even seen his parents. In the "interest of justice" my husband should be released immediately based on the facts related to this wrongful conviction Mariposa county superior court and District attorney should've corrected this error 11 years ago in the "interest of justice" but has refused to do so. Please sign this petition so I can get justice for my husband and our family.
