I am writing to you as a concerned party from Marine Leadership Academy from CPS.Over the past years a lot has happened the school and everything is being kept a secret and being washed under the rug from the public eye as well as from the affected parents of the school. In the past few years  this school has seen, cover ups for inappropriate behavior between students and staff, intimidation, inappropriate questioning of students, threats and complete unfairness in the process which cases are being investigatedt. To add to all of this staff members removed by the district pending investigation have been allowed to enter the building and have been sat down with students to discuss pending investigations. The actions of the current principal at MLA are beyond concerning and removal needed to happen a couple of years ago when failed to report cases to the correct authorities and CPS.is throwing people under the bus for own benefit and face-saving. A simple investigation and a request through FOIA can prove the lies with which is continuing to serve as even though has continually covered up acts of inappropriate behavior among other things. CPS is moving to cover all of the incidents up and keep in power as a way of downplaying the severity of past actions. Continuous anonymous reporting to the office of inspector general (OIG) have failed. Continuous meetings with CPS legal and OIG have failed as relationship with  the office of OIG is deep and every report generated against was brought to attention instead of being investigated. The principal, OIG and CPS have failed the parents of MLA community and a conspiracy is taking place to downplay the severity of whats going on at MLA. Lincoln Park is only the surface of what is going on in CPS, the intimidating and covering up is rampant in CPS. Currently there are more than five investigations of inappropriate behavior at MLA, all of which stem from the time the took over. Not one has resulted in a hearing for the.
