It is hard to believe that the Murray Path extension is not even a year old, and already is a great asset to the area. In December, Wasson Way connected to the Murray Path. Now we have a safe and scenic route to Ault Park and other Hyde Park amenities all the way to Xavier University.

Many would like to keep up the momentum and work to connect Mariemont to the Little Miami Trail. Our community has an opportunity to apply for a grant that can help partially fund a path through the Northeastern section of Mariemont (Miami to Pocahontas near the library).

By signing this petition, you can show your support of the Mariemont Village Council in applying for a grant with the State of Ohio. The cost of, and support in applying for the grant, will be provided through private donations.

We also recognize that there will need to be more community involvement in determining the design and final course of the mixed-use path please let us know if you would like to participate. Applying for the grant now allows our community to multi-task, submitting the grant application while opening the discussion to the community at large.
