Nous, les locataires de la rue Godin (754 à 768), prenons la parole pour demander un changement nécessaire dans les règlements municipaux à Verdun!

Nous avons besoin d'autant de signatures que possible pour exprimer à quel point il est important de protéger nos maisons contre les rénovictions et la gentrification à Verdun. Les règles doivent changer MAINTENANT afin d'éliminer la quête de profit qui se fait aux dépens des locataires et des citoyen-ne-s, engagé-e-s à Verdun depuis longtemps!

Le Conseil municipal de Verdun doit commencer à protéger ses citoyen-ne-s de cette exploitation pour le profit ! Verdun perd également de nombreuses adresses en raison de la fusion de ces maisons en condos!

Si vous êtes locataire dans ce quartier, il est temps d'aider à initier ce changement important de la part de notre Conseil municipal dont le devoir est de protéger ses citoyens et les maisons de son arrondissement, et non de rester les bras croisés devant la dévastation que les rénovictions causent partout dans Verdun ! Cela pourrait arriver à n'importe quel-le locataire à n'importe quel moment si les choses ne changent pas maintenant!

Nous devons nous unir contre cela et nous assurer que notre Conseil municipal fait son devoir en protégeant les locataires et leurs maisons au lieu de permettre à ces gentrificateurs de traiter les locataires comme une transaction boursière pour le profit ! C'est inhumain et cela doit cesser!

We, the tenants of Godin Street (754 to 768) are speaking out for a much needed change regarding city bylaws in Verdun!  

We need as many signatures as we can to voice just how important it is to protect our homes against renovictions and gentrification in Verdun.  The bylaws must change NOW to eliminate the greed for profit at the expense of tenants and long time dedicated Verdun citizens!

Verdun City Council must start protecting their citizens from this exploitation for profit!  Verdun is also loosing many addresses due to these homes being fused into condos!

if you are a renter in this neighbourhood, it’s time to help initiate this important change from our City Council whose duty is to protect their citizens and the homes within their borough, not stand by and watch the devastation that renovictions are causing all over the city of Verdun!  This could happen to any given tenant at any given time if things do not change now!

We need to stand united against this and ensure that our City Council is doing their duty by protecting tenants and their homes instead of allowing these gentrifiers to treat tenants as a stock exchange transaction for profit!  This is inhumane and must stop!
