Violence & Death should not be a commercial opportunity

A woman was violently murdered and stuffed in a wardrobe in Dublin, Ireland.  She was wrapped in a sleeping bag with a plastic bag over her head. She was missing for days and when found had been dead for days. Women everywhere are in shock with the callous brutality meted out to her and to many women in Ireland . We rightly protest at violence and murders of women by men.

Yet what does one Irish newspaper do?  The Herald in Ireland think this is OK?

They report her murder with 'wardrobe' clearly in the heading of the piece and below the article print a big advertisement for people to buy some wonderful wardrobes.

Its sickening, gross, disrespectful, outrageous.  We call on the Herald to apologise and to donate a considerable sum of money to domestic violence organisations.

A Women's death, murder, killing, is not an 'opportunity' for economic growth! not an 'opportunity to sell wardrobes.

We should be outraged.

Joanne deserves respect and dignity in death. Her family deserve love and support.

Please sign to show your anger & disgust  at this outrage by the Herald.
