PRSD Wednesday In-School Learning
PRSD Wednesday In-School Learning

After many months of requesting more in person learning via school board meetings, phone calls, emails, and other forms of communication, we feel our voices have not been heard. As tax payers of the town of Pearl River, we expect more for our students, including more in person education, which can be achieved on Wednesdays, when school is completely asynchronous.
There are possibilities to have a rotating schedule available for grades to potentially take turns for half or full day in person learning on Wednesdays, which account for almost one quarter of our school year. It is unacceptable that this much of the school year is provided without direct instruction from the teachers, whether in person or remotely.
We are asking the Pearl River School District's Board of Education, the Super Intendent, and the Administration to take this request seriously and provide more in person instruction for our students.
