Only 9 percent of all that is actually being properly recycled and If not it takes many years for them to decompose. In addition, toxic substances are released into the soil when plastic objects perish under sunlight and, if plastics are burned, they release a toxic substance into the air causing ambient air pollution. According to a report, a truckload of plastic enters our oceans every 2 minutes, every day. Over 1 million marine animals such as fish, sharks, turtles, and birds die due to a plastic related situation every year with these rates all marine life will be eliminated. If we continue to do this the ocean will soon be filled with plastic we will lose marine life and the natural beauty that our planet has to offer. What i need you to reduce the amount of plastic you use whether it's one less plastic sandwich bag, to switch from plastic straws to paper straws, or get a reusable water bottle to replace the plastic disposable one if all can contribute we can drastically minimize this ongoing problem and save our environment along with marine life. It's like they say we only have one earth so let's take care of it. I need you to reduce the amount of plastic you use and stop purchasing/producing plastic packaged products and purchase/make more biodegradable ones.
