I wanna use this petition to prove a point to the world that it is 2021 and respect for lgbtq+ is a must. 

Lgbtq+ rights have been under attack ever since the existence of mankind. Up until today we face prosecution in more than 70+ countries, in 11 of those we can face death penalty. 

It was only in 2001 that gay-marriage was first legalized in the netherlands, just under 20 years later only 28 other countries have followed which brings us to a total of 29. Considering there are 197 countries technical and 215 considering unrecognized states. This proves that there is a lot of work to be done in our world.

Murders out of pure hatecrime against lgbtq+ members happen on a daily base. In 2021 we should normalize every single part of the lgbtq+ community. Being gay is normal, being bi is normal being transgender is normal, being non-binary is normal and so on. 

If same sex relationships have been found in hundreds of species, but homophobia only in 1, then not same sex relationship but homophobia is unnatural.

Your religion nor personal opinion has nothing to say about who someone loves, or who they are. Because after all, Love really is Love.
