The spread of Covid-19 (especially the more infectious Delta variant) in Manitoba is creating a renewed public health risk. With a still significant number of people over the age of 12 not fully vaccinated, the absence of protective masks in indoor public places (especially grocery stores), puts those who are unable to be vaccinated (namely children under the age of 12) at the greatest risk of infection.  We see this happening in Canada and the United States - where young children are now being hospitalized.  The easiest way to stop the spread is with face masks and vaccinations.  Please sign this petition and forward it so that we can get the mask mandate reinstated ASAP before tragedy strikes the most vulnerable.
