Roseann Fana-Perez started this petition to Queens Hospital Center- Executive Administration Dean Mahaltses

Recently the MPG parking lot at Queens Hospital was reduced in size causing an issue with cars being able to park safely.  There are also old car lifts, many of which are ineffective, limiting how cars are parked and ruining tires because of the precision needed to safely place cars in between them.  There is limited visibility in certain areas and no stop signs or directional marks on lanes clearly too small for two way traffic, which can lead to collisions .  On 2/1 the parking situation was complicated more with snow that had fallen and not plowed effectively.  Sadly, despite price increases there is no improvement in the parking lot and many problems that need to be addressed.  As hospital employees we choose MPG for the convenience we hope it offers to park and quickly get to work but the above issues are actually causing time delays in getting to work and helping patients.

We are requesting urgent attention and resolution of the issues in the parking lot and request:

1 the blue car lifts be removed

2 more spots be clearly delineated

3 stop signs and directional arrows to reduce traffic possibility of accidents

4 plowing during snow do be done promptly and effectively
