Amendment in the Indian Penal Code

Enough is enough. This is not time for fence sitting. We live in a country, where a girl is neither safe inside the womb nor outside it.
Even after the Nirbhaya Verdict, nothing has changed. Sentences, mentioned in the IPC, most of the time do not match with the crime. Even, they fail to acknowledge the pain the victims had to endure.
Indian judicial system is in dire condition. Why is it full of loopholes? Why there is slack? Why do not rape survivors get justice as early as possible? Why do not lawyers fight for justice free of cost if the victim belongs to BPL or weaker sections?
Changes should be brought into the IPC. Punishments, mentioned in the section 376,376a,376b,376c,376d should be more stringent and exemplary. Otherwise, the extent, the severerity of crime would become more horrific, more appalling.
We welcome Madhya Pradesh cabinet's approval of giving death sentence to the rapists who will rape 12years old girls or below the age of twelve.
We want your intervention. We want prompt actions to give justice to rape survivors. Do intervene as soon as possible to make it happen. We will leave no stone unturned in this regard. Hope, you understand the need of the hour and give your valuable consent to make it concrete.
#RAISEURVOiCE is a clarion call for anti-sexual harassment movement. We have taken few measures to end gender based violence prevailing wide spread.
