#MandelaDay2017, Evicting the Bagerezi aka the Dustbin Diggers in Centurion

Homelessness and Unemployment are creating massive equity gaps in the South African socio-economic landscape where millions are still impoverished are 23 years of democracy in the Republic of South Africa.

There is no denying the fact that failure from Government to act on the issues as mentioned above, have caused these issues to spiral out of control.

With that said, South African society as a whole should also face up to the facts that we failed to address the status quo even though we have been aware of those left behind.

The Bagerezi is a group of vulnerable People who are part of South African society whether we who have the comfort of reading petitions like this on our personal home computers like it or not.

They offer us a unique opportunity to address not only the issues regarding homelessness and unemployment, but also to address inequity as a whole in South Africa and to see proper Radical Economic Transformation where it is most needed, on the ground.

Today, on the 18th of July 2017, Mandela Day was used to create a better community for people who live in Centurion on the one side by nearly destroying a minority and economically vulnerable community which get left unrecognized and under utilized on the other side.

Please help us stop the eviction which was started on #MandelaDay2017 as part of an evolving plan to better South Africa for all who stay in it.

The local DA council is already taking in suggestions on how to deal with the issue regarding homelessness and unemployment and the Bagerezi form part of this action plan.
