In consideration of today’s unfortunate climate in which school shootings have become commonplace, every school should be completely fenced in and have a locked gate. No one should have unrestricted access to a school of children: not gunmen, not potential abductors, no one at all.  Our children are worth the expense of a fence and a gate.

Schools COULD be but often are NOT equipped with all security measures available. These include locked gates, the Raptor ID’ing system, Staff Security Officers, and Lockbloks on all doors. It is entirely possible to put precautions into place to make it less likely that an intruder could gain access to a school campus. At minimum all schools should have fences and locked gates.

Let’s keep our children safe. No parent should have to go through what the Sandy Hook and Robb School parents are going through ever again! Help keep our children safe by requiring all schools to be completely enclosed by fences and secured gates.  This one time expense for schools will be more than worth it.
