Manchester United Football Club have been known for having strong leadership both on and off the pitch at every moment - the likes of Roy Keane, Nemanja Vidic, Steve Bruce, Eric Cantona, Gary Neville, to name a few. For the past few years, however, our beloved club has been subject to a spineless-like leadership on the pitch of play; leading to show of disappointing display most times by fellow team members.

As the captain of this somehow “struggling to stay afloat” ship, character is needed to steer it towards the desired destination of old times. However time again, our captain has proven to be a deadweight rather than the captain.

I believe this team and the fans deserve better! 

We deserve a captain who can spur the team on, rather than drag it down!

We deserve a captain who is capable of leading the team to its deserved promise land!

We deserve a “better” captain than Harry Maguire!
