Protect the 20+ residents being made homeless - The Peele care home, Wythenshawe

Protect and help re-home the elderly residents of The Peele care home, Wythenshawe. Recently, the family of residents in this care home have 4-6 weeks to find somewhere else to live. They have not been given a fair opportunity and should not be rushed/forced out as they have.

A few of said residents are receiving end of life care. Families are overwhelmed with concern as these residents suffer with conditions such as dementia and alzheimer's. Many believe their loved ones will not survive a move or that it could make their condition worse. There should be more support in place for these residents and they shouldn't be kicked out with no other place to go. These elderly people's lives are being put at risk.

The owners of the facility should be held responsible for the desperate position that some of these families have been put in and should be putting something in place to help the effected residents be rehoused, and ensure no resident that can not handle the move is being forced to do so.

This petition, as well as a detailed e-mail will be sent to local MP, Mike Kane once it has received enough signatures. This is important to me as my own Nana is one of the residents being told to leave.
