It’s no surprise the rate of infection is once again increasing. Children are being sent to schools, being exposed to hundreds of other households and kept in classes of 30 and the government calls this “social distancing”?

Education is very important, that’s no wonder, but it can still continue in the safety of your home, behind a screen. Being physically present in a building is the same as being behind your laptop.
This petition aims to spread & gather agreement that schools in & around Manchester (areas that are getting infected exponentially) should be closed and learning should be moved to online. And the local government must help those children who don’t have the facilities (ie laptop, wifi etc) so that they are not disadvantaged. Something must be done before more children are affected.
