Most of the good food that we all enjoy comes from our great Aussie farmers. Many of them at the moment, as you know, are suffering with the terrible drought, and much is being done to help them. Fundraisers, food collection and more.

What about our banks- can you have some compassion? These farmers are under an unimaginable amount of pressure just to survive, let alone keep business going and feed their families. Imagine the relief they would experience with the removal of the pressure of mounting debt!

NAB, CBA and Rabobank are the major lenders to our farmers. Some of the relief so far has been offset of loans by Farm Management deposits and stopping penalty interest. Surely, with all the profit they announce so regularly, THE BANKS CAN DO MORE.

This of course will benefit the farmers, but also flow on benefits for all of us that enjoy the produce of these farms.

Let's petition the banks to cancel our drought stricken farmers' loans, and get behind our farmers to help with their financial pressures!
