Bring community based competitive water polo to Surrey in 2017.

Currently there is only one water polo club in Surrey which offers recreational water polo. They do not offer competitive water polo and are not equipped to do so for a number of reason.

A large number of Surrey youth that play competitive water polo must travel outside the city to find teams at this level. The number of players doing so could make up a team based in Surrey and the availability of such team would be expected to draw more residents into this level of play. There are two competitive swim clubs and 10 plus recreational or masters swim clubs practicing in Surrey but only one water polo. The organizers of West Coast Pirates Water Polo have decades of combined water polo experience nationally and internationally and wish to bring the benefit of their experiences to the youth of Surrey.

I support West Coast Pirates Water Polo in bringing a competitive water polo club to Surrey youth.
