Reopening of Colleges in West Bengal: Students are tired of receiving secondhand education
REASONS WHY COLLEGES SHOULD REOPEN:
1) It hinders our Education. The difference between online classes and physical classes are too wide a gap, online classes would be comparable to simply watching videos on youtube.
2) It's too difficult for professors and lecturers to teach on online classes due to problems of internet and such. It feels like we are not receiving 100% of what we should receive.
3) Students of Law, Engineering and Sciences are especially struggling with online classes as they depend a lot on the practical aspect of their courses.
4) It is demotivating the students. Students are losing their drive to study, as online grading system ruins grades for some students whereas underserving students could get good grades by 'cheating'. This hampers the future of not only the students but India.
5) As much as the Government cares for the health and wellbeing of students in this situation, closing colleges and hindering our education only hampers our future and we might even suffer a greater deal than contracting the virus.
6) Since vaccination has become available, it is the cry of the students that colleges with proper resources for carrying out certain protocols are reopened for the sake of our mental health as well as our future.
