The serious health problems that smoking causes have resulted in many lives being lost. With a mix of nicotine and carbon monoxide, cigarettes are lethal. Being highly dangerous to inhale, carbon monoxide will ruin the user's body from the inside, and having a hefty amount of nicotine in it will make the product highly addictive. Cigarettes are the perfect product to slowly kill their users. Symptoms of smoking will be active inside the user's body, external symptoms will also appear. A study conducted by CigVen University in 2020 states that people that smoke have a 30% more chance to lower their life expectancy over the months of usage of cigarettes. So then, do you still want smoking to be available even after hearing all the nasty things it does to your body if you smoke? Out of the 1 billion people that smoke worldwide, each person that smokes spends an average of $170 a year on cigarettes. Do you know how many other things you could’ve invested in? The list is endless. However, more addicted smokers will easily surpass the $170 per year average, due to their addiction and nicotines symptoms, quitting smoking is very difficult. Cigarettes aren’t cheap, a 20 pack costs $23.86, a 25 pack costs $29.48, a 30 pack costs $38.11, a 35 pack costs $41.95, a 40 pack costs $49.63 and a 50 pack costs $53.95. However, the price of cigarettes is annually rising so in the following years, the prices are set to be higher. A study conducted by Mobid University shows that 9 out of 10 smokers regret spending money on cigarettes. Cigarettes are highly addictive and the process of quitting or separation the product is even more difficult for the user if they are a regular user or highly addicted to cigarettes. The process of quitting smoking is regularly a tough one for smokers, as only 55% of the 1 billion people that smoke have attempted to quit smoking and only 8% of the 1 billion people that smoke have been successful in quitting smoking. A study conducted by Metrodawk University shows that around 40% of smokers confessed to being addicted to smoking or have shown symptoms of smoking addiction.
