Rememberance morning for Australia Day

Every year we celebrate Australia Day. What does this mean to you really? Why don't we, just like ANZAC day, remember the lives lost and displaced by genocide and war against the oldest living culture on the planet and our first peoples. We could have a rememberance service and then celebrate our multicultural and lucky country after that. We are starting this petition to have the Day reworked to stand for what it really is and what we now can work together towards making it be. A country that recognises the past atrocities and then celebrates a kind future. Today this country houses people from many, many nations, but may we remember the true history of this country, may we work towards healing it and may we stand united as one race.... the human race. Who's with us?
