with news that some city councils are responding to chinas ban on imported recyclables by simply dumping their recyclable material in landfill is an absolute joke. it is "justified" as a money saving endeavour but honestly that is just code for the brass at the top needing an extra ivory backscratcher at the expense of the environment. i write this petition with no real goal but to hope get enough signatures to show the powers that be at a federal level that ordinary australians , pure people power want the government to take a hard look at this topic.
