High Speed Rail for Sydney/Newcastle/Canberra/Melbourne

This petition had 9 supporters

We need High-Speed Rail to link our major cities. This will allow the dispersion of living and easy computing to Sydney and Melbourne form rural areas. The concept of the train is one that never stops and hence will allow the most efficient form of transport between cities.

How it works

Passengers wait in a pod on an elevated platform at each station.

As the train passes through the station, this pod locks onto the front of the roof and passengers descend onto the train.

The pod then moves to the rear of the roof to pick up passengers who want to exit at the next stop.

When the train arrives at the next stop, the rear pod is detached and a new pod is collected.
