Malcolm Turnbull:Do not deny grieving parents answers to their son’s death on Manus Island

0 have signed. Let’s get to 15,000!

Young Hamed died a miserable death on Manus Island this week. I’m the family’s lawyer — and right now his devastated parents are being kept in the dark about how and why he died.

This is an appalling way to treat a grieving family. They just want an independent autopsy and an inquest in Australia. That request has been ignored.

Time is running out because officials want to repatriate his body and then it will be too late to get answers.

The Guardian has published evidence of a paper trail that shows government negligence that goes all the way to the top in this shocking case. Our government took Hamed to PNG, held him there, they knew his health was fragile and they left him to die. They owe it to his family to give them answers.

Malcolm Turnbull, you are a father, all the family are asking for is what any parent would be entitled to.

Please help today.  By signing this petition we can achieve justice for Hamed.
