Widen Highway 395 in Ca and add designated turnouts

Highway 395 is a heavily traveled road which takes people from Los Angeles and surrounding areas to the beautiful Eastern Sierra Nevada, including the popular ski/recreation area of Mammoth Lakes. It is also very dangerous, consisting of a 2 lane narrow road for about 133 miles. There are no designated turnouts for slower-moving vehicles such as the many RV's and commercial trucks which regularly travel here, and very few passing lanes. There are too many head-on collisions. Just yesterday as we drove home we passed the remains of a head-on collision and once again I had to wonder: why isn't this heavily used, popular road given priority for additional safety measures?? Please sign this petition to try and bring notice and action to this issue. 395 needs more lanes! 395 needs designated turnouts!
