We need to be proactive in supporting and caring for refugees. I am ashamed to be Australian.

Doing nothi g, leavi g these asylum seekers to waste away to a shadow of their former selves, is cruel and heartless at the very least, and shameful in the eyes of those in our country and in our world who have basic human decency 

Nothing can make the government's policy on this issue right... But!! A policy reversal, apology and a whole lot of compensation would be a good start. Please, Malcolm Turnbull, don't delay this any further.

Australia is committing a crime against humanity. The detainees have not committed a crime. Australia has broken refugee law and the has denied the detainees natural law. Bring them here now, or face the consequences to your reputations and how you wwill be recorded in history. Most importantly, the detaineees are suffering, you know this. You must act decently and swiftly before you cause further damage to those innocent cchild6ren, women and men
