The fate that befalls Ain is most appalling. Ain and any child must have the right to education in a safe environment. The school principal should be sacked to send a clear message that such despicable behaviour cannot be tolerated. Disciplinary action should also be take against the student who made the rape threat and his parents should be called in to be counseled on how to teach their son the lessons of morality. 

Children should not go to school in fear. The school is supposed to be where children feel safe. It is not only a place to get an education but also the place to learn about the right human values. The school must ensure that our children are being raised right. How can we nurture courtesy and respect when the school principal condones rudeness, threat and disrespect.

This is not a trivial matter that the authority can hope to sweep under the carpet. The Rakyat need to stand up and be heard very loudly.
