As many of you will know in recent events Carlisle has had many upsetting things happen within it, peoples possessions are being smashed up, public transportation being targeted, this shouldn’t be happening at all in this community. And as a result of this bus drivers have walked out of their jobs because they feel unsafe to continue working, this is THEIR livelihood, how they feed their family’s and keep a roof over their families heads, the 61 and 61A has been stopped after a certain time because 3 bus windows were smashed in the past 3 days by a minority group of teenagers , as a result of all of this people are being left no choice but to walk home in the dark, I can’t speak for anyone else but I hate walking home in the dark due to past incidents, their is an increased risk of sexual assaults and rape (believe it or not) none of these kids are thinking about that though are they? No. All I ask is for a signature to hopefully push the local MP’s and police to do something before someone seriously gets hurt , I’m sorry but this just shouldn’t be happening.
