so i am a car enthusiast in southern illinois, i have had underglow lights on both my my vehicles and have gotten compliments on them or people have said to me that it makes the roads happier and easier to see us driving. I have been told to “turn my f*cking leds off” by lots of law enforcements saying they are illegal. I believe they shouldn’t be illegal because some people (even kids) love them and it makes their day, especially when it allows us fellow car enthusiasts feel safer that people can see us on the road with the lights. Me and a couple friends have supported law enforcements and other city workers with our lights by changing it to their colors on events. Or with awareness with mental disorders or lgbt causes and like austism and stroke awareness etc. So i think they should be legal due to happy admirers and supporting local city workers or awareness programs. People can think this is cheesy or stupid but i would like the support to help lift this
