I am a student doing my citizenship project. I am passionate about making toilets in schools (UK) cleaner and safer, specifically secondary schools. Many students avoid using toilets at school due to their unsanitary nature (urine on floor, broken toilets, etc). Toilets are also an unsafe space as bullying occurs due to being hidden from teachers. School toilets have been notoriously unsanitary, but this needs to change.
