Make the Tier 4 Visa fairer for international students in the UK

Do you think it’s unfair that international students on a Tier 4 visa can only work 20 hours a week and that must include paid employment, volunteering and internships, when there are no restrictions on other university students?
Why we need to help students on a Tier 4 visa
The UK has a vibrant international student community who choose to study here above other countries.
Quite rightly they have high expectations and want to make the most of their time here and that includes getting valuable work experience via internships and voluntary work.
Many also need to work to support themselves financially but our Government shackles those on a Tier 4 visa to rules that put them at a disadvantage, when it comes to securing part-time work and internships.
These rules STOP students from being able to support themselves financially, gain the work experience they need and make a valuable contribution to their local community.
The Tier 4 visa needs a radical and urgent overhaul to make it fairer.
An increase in the number of hours an international student can work would allow thousands of students to support themselves financially and enable them to pursue internships and voluntary work.
Why YOU SHOULD sign this petition
If you are an international student or applying to study in the UK support your community, especially those students that need to work part-time to fund their studies.
For everyone else please sign this petition because the current Tier 4 visa is grossly unfair against a community that contribute heavily to the UK economy, make our universities the vibrant places they are and stops these students from fully integrating into the UK.
