The K.K.K. is a group of Alt-Right extremists who stand for white supremacy and Nazi ideology. They have committed countless acts of violence including the lynching of hundreds of Black men and women, and the murder of a peaceful protester in Charlottesville. Since they were founded in 1865 the white hood and cloak have become synonymous with evil. They target Blacks, Jews, Catholics, Immigrants, Latinos, and anyone who is different from them. For four years Donald Trump not only refused to denounce them, and other Alt-Right extremist groups, but defended, praised, and encouraged them to continue their acts of racist, homophobic, xenophobic, and anti-Semitic violence. The fact that they are American citizens shouldn't protect them. The fact that they fly American flags shouldn't protect them. With Joe Biden as president I believe that we can officially name the K.K.K. as what it is; a domestic terrorist group. You cannot call yourself a true American and defend them. They are a domestic terrorist group, and in 2021 it is time to officially classify them as one.
