The food provided by District 196 in Minnesota is not adequate for a full meal. If some children rely on this food as a sole food source, then the food needs to be improved on. That's why we, the students, teachers, and parents can try to make a change, by signing a petition. If we have over 8,000 signatures, that means that over half of the students in middle school and high school in the district have signed the petition. If we don't make it to that amount, all our progress is gone and we're back to square one. The power to improve the food is in our hands, we got this.
