While Purdue University certainly has a lot of students with high amounts of pride in their education decision, many students are beginning to feel a problem with celebrations for football games beginning so early in the morning! Saturday mornings are meant for students to sleep in, especially after a long and busy week of classes. We need the extra amounts of rest, and the Boilermaker Special beginning its loud parade at 6:00 AM every game day is ludicrously early for any sane individual. If it were to start at, say 12:00 PM, aka noon, then many students would still be able to participate in their school's pride whilst also getting a good night's rest, allowing them to better focus for the upcoming week.
