Plenty of people have to work in the service industry and holidays can be very straining on the work force, which is why getting holiday pay for working on days that are ridiculously busier helps. There is one day in the year that has the same amount of business increase or businesses close early(as if observing a holiday) that is not federally treated the same. That day is on Superbowl Sunday. The question is why hasn't these event: this holiday, been made into a national holiday yet? What shows more National patriotism than celebrating an American founded sport event that involves, the American people, our esteemed athletes even our military pilots. The superbowl should be a federally made national holiday for all the service workers that are working the superbowl sales; for the people at home supporting state and country; for the military pilots flying fighter jets over head in celebration, and for the talented athletes working hard playing a national sport.
