Spider-Man is arguably Marvel's most beloved character and though Sony has owned the movie rights to this character, there is no reason other than greedy anti-consumer business tactics that will leave fans disappointed and angry. 

The gaming community is no stranger to exclusivity deals by any means. We've seen it done with franchises, perks, rewards, and numerous other things but this specific exclusivity deal has gone beyond the "business as usual". Marvel's The Avengers was to be a the first Marvel game that any gamer on any platform could finally live out their fantasy of being their favorite character to level up, loot new gear, and play with friends. Now that Spider-Man has been locked out from other platforms, that dream is broken and the hope of a great Marvel game, first of it's kind, is tarnished. 

For those who don't believe this is a big deal, imagine if you went to an AMC movie theater to watch The Avengers but all the scenes of Spider-Man were cut out because you didn't watch it at a Regal theater. Or if you couldn't play the Warlock class on Destiny because that was locked to Xbox. 

We're asking for all parties Sony, Square Enix, and Marvel to reevaluate this terrible anti-consumer deal to at least only timed exclusivity, or a deal that won't leave other platforms Spider-Man-less otherwise.
