i feel like if they taught sign language in schools it could make society a lot more aware of the deaf community or others who use sign language as their main source of speaking such as Deaf people or people with hard of hearing. sign language is something i am passionate about as i have came into contact with a very lovely women who is now like family to me. she is deaf and sense knowing her i have learned the alphabet. i would like to expand on this knowledge of mine. sure you could pay for classes at some places but in school you could go and take it as a class and get credits to further graduate you.
