I am 48 and have Cerebral Palsy, need everything done for me from getting out of bed to going to the toilet, I can't get 24 hour care in my own home, I am left from 11pm til 9am in bed expected to wear pads how is this fair or right. I am 48 years old but because I am trapped in a body that doesn't work I'm not allowed to live after 11pm or before 9am. I have fought all my life to be independent but yet I feel like a prisoner because I am disabled given just 10 hours care per day to live my life. Convicts probably have a better life than I do, I never chose to be disabled but I am being like a cage animal trapped in a body I never asked for. Time for a change and time for disabled people to start living and not fighting for everything
