Make routes for small buses in Chennai more inclusive for mobility challenged persons

I am Suryaprakash and I am a student of transition class, Vidya Sagar school, Chennai.
My school is a special school, one of the few that is equipped to teach students with different disabilities.
To get to school, I and many of my fellow students use buses run by the Metropolitan Transport Corporation (Chennai) (MTC). The nearest bus stop is 300 meters away from the school gate.
Although, the distance of 300 meters is not too long, students with mobility challenges including myself find it hard to walk to and from the bus stop.
Moreover the road on which my school is located is narrow and has high traffic making this walk unsafe for us.
If the MTC alters the route of small bus S17 that runs in the neighborhood, students like me can catch this bus directly from our school gate. It will save us from taking an unsafe and hard walk.
Not only this, but I want MTC to reassess the routes of all the small buses in city to check if by altering their routes to cover NGOs and special schools in the respective neighborhoods, they can bring in more safety and convenience to people with mobility challenges.
Sign my petition asking MTC to take up my request on a war footing and provide an early relief to me by altering route for S17 and also look at routes of other small buses to take them close to nearby NGOs and schools dealing with disabled persons.
Sign and share my petition with as many people as you can so that we can get the Corporation officials to act early.
