Darren Cody started this petition

In 2013, my brother passed away from an overdose of fentanyl-laced MDMA during a year-long relapse. At the time, my parents had absolutely no idea where to find help as the only rehabs near Ottawa, Ontario at the time were for adults. There was no single resource to use to find the appropriate help they needed that could’ve saved my brother’s life. Government officials or industry leaders were no help or their hands were tied.

Fast forward to 2021, there are many individuals and families who are in the same situation due to the devastating effects of COVID on our mental health. It has accelerated many people's addictions and stolen many souls.

In the summer of 2021, I surrendered to my alcohol addiction. At the time, I did not know where to start or where to find help. Alcoholics Anonymous was top of mind so thankfully that is where I went.

We are creating a Platform that Treatment Facilities can use to manage Bed and Waitlist Availability, Billing, Reputation, and Clients. This will be directly integrated into our Marketplace where Users can find a treatment facility, read reviews, amenities, and finally reserve a Bed or join a Waitlist in real-time and pay through credit or insurance.

This Petition will be used to collect signatures for us to bring to government officials to become involved in the solution.

My name is Darren and I am a grateful recovering alcoholic.
