We want to raise support to ask the leadership at Lassonde to enact quiet hours for the piano at Lassonde Studios. This piano is something that has the ability to bring a beautiful sound and joy to all of those the hear the music that it can play. The problem with this is that at times, this piano can be quite loud. Due to the concrete construction of Lassonde Studios, the sound that it produces is boisterous and reverberates for all to hear, whether they choose to or not. We have found that this sound oftentimes unintentionally, interrupts students and entrepreneurs who are hoping to use Lassonde as a quiet space to work, have meetings, and build products. 

We are asking for the leadership at Lassonde to enact quiet hours or create designated times for this piano to be played. Further, we encourage the leadership to work with the community to find times and additional solutions that would allow for the piano to still serve its intended purpose while not disrupting the work of all of those who use Lassonde as a place of work and business.
