Make progesterone more accesible on the NHS
Many transgendered individuals under the care of the NHS are being refused a much needed medication known as progesterone which has nothing but benefits towards transition when used alongside estrogend and blockers.
The NHS are denying this prescription under outdated studies, stating time and time again it does not work/the risks outweigh the benefits. This is completely incorrect.
Internationally this is prescribed with nothing but benefits, in private clinics (notably LTC) in the UK, they are also prescribing this, which acts as evidence, the gender clinics are operating on a transphobic bias in order to save a bit of money.
Progesterone helps transgendered people develop breasts to tanner stage V, estrogen therapy alone, it is lucky to even make it to tanner stage III. It also helps with muscle and fat distribution a lot more than estrogen alone.

Currently, i am fighting with the NHS to prescribe this, to myself, signing this, with enough signatures i shall present it to them, i am in hopes to be able to change this stance and give a much needed prescription to those wishing for it, removing the risks associated with sourcing it for self medication reasons.
