During covid adopting pets was the thing to do. Now that life is slowly returning back to normal, people are now having to return back to work onsite which has greatly impacted their pets, with them starting to display  behaviours such as seperation anxiety and other behavioural problems.

Because of this alot of people are surrendering their pets.

It was all well and good to adopt them when we were alone and suffering trying to get through a very difficult stage in history, now that has passed it is not alright to dump your pets at an animal shelter because they no longer meet your needs or fit your lifestyle.

I think anyone who is surrendering their pets should be charged a fee, to make sure that the next time they decide to make the decision of allowing a pet into their lives that its for life and not a temporary fix to fulfill their own selfish needs.
