To put it bluntly, the bathrooms at Oakland Technical High School are a disgrace. They do not receive the care or attention they very much need. This makes it a very uncomfortable and unsafe experience for anyone trying to use the bathroom for its purpose.

Every person we have spoken to or surveyed has agreed that the bathrooms are in disrepair and would only use them in an emergency. Some students even leave campus to find a clean bathroom.

Our team interviewed the school's principal, Martel Price, who agreed that the bathrooms were in an awful state. He explained that the school was down one janitor and insinuated that there was a lack of work ethic among the janitors that were in place.

We hope to garner enough support to show the school and the district that there is a big problem with the bathrooms that the administration can't ignore anymore. 

Our Primary Goal is for the school to allocate a portion of its budget to the refurbishment of the bathrooms and to maintain the cleanliness with the support of a complete janitorial team.
