"We the people", for New York State. started this petition to " There is no procedure, at all, in the U.S. constitution for a state to secede."
When 3% of the land mass can dedicate the power over the 97%. There will be backlash. Every election that comes into play, "voting for a governor", is catered to New York City and its surrounding boroughs. "We the people", are fed up and need change. Please support the cause and push for NYC to become it's own district and leave New York State. If this could happen, we would still have 50 states. Quality of life would increase.This state has so much more to offer. The policies and procedures set in place are degrading to this beautiful state.
