I am writing this petition for Halifax Nando's to be halal and more inclusive for the ethnic minority of this town. It is calculated that approximately 7.8% of Muslims resided in the town of Halifax in 2011, this number has steadily been progressing since. Unfortunately, this is something Nando’s Halifax hasn’t considered in regards to simple dietary requirements for the members of Halifax.  

many Muslims are having to travel out to neighbouring towns such as Bradford and Huddersfield to get their quick fix of a cheeky Nando’s. which unfortunately isn’t a quick fix, because you’re driving 20 minutes to get to one. Many of us Muslims think this is totally unacceptable. 

we are heading towards the direction of inclusivity which involves more vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free/dairy free foods. Why are halal and kosher missing off these lists in many restaurants,  Especially big chain restaurants? 

Nando’s you’re not marketing in the right way, up your profits by allowing halal meat in your Halifax restaurant and see how your small branch becomes more busy in just a day. Make your chicken halal, and let everyone enjoy a cheeky Nando’s.
