With the announcement of principal Dr. Andrea Smith’s resignation, Lyons Middle/Senior High School is looking for a new principal to fill the position. When I think of someone to fill this position, I think of Mr. David Glover, the Dean of Students. I know that I am not alone in thinking that the students of Lyons want Mr. Glover to be their new principal. The students already know and respect him, and I believe that he is the person to trust with this title. He has worked in the SVVSD school district for 12 years and has spent the past 3 years working at Lyons Middle/Senior High School, giving him more than enough time to see how this community needs to be run in order to continue to thrive and prosper. To conclude, myself and an abundance of my fellow students believe that Mr. Glover is the right person for the job. So join me in helping make David Glover the new principal of Lyons Middle/Senior High School.
