High School Service Project

All women deserve to have access to menstruation products no matter what life situation they are in or what walk of life they come from. Bare minimum comfort during this time of the month is a necessity for everyone who menstruates. Currently, women's shelters are understaffed and underfunded, especially when it comes to feminine products.

This petition aims to not only raise awareness for the dire need that these shelters have to get in supplies of feminine products, but also to attempt to allocate more funds to these shelters. Los Angeles has had an ongoing issue of large amounts of homeless populating the streets. Ideally, we want to be able to provide these individuals with support in housing and products that will get them off of the streets and prepare for any challenge that life throws at them. Providing basic necessities such as feminine products allows for this. 

By signing this petition, you are showing your support with funding the collection of sanitary products. This also shows the collector of the survey just how many people care about this issue and want to invoke change.
